Investors and attendees will see the action unfold on stage, go hands-on with some of the latest VR experiences and products on the Demo Floor, and have ample networking time to personally connect with founders.

Varun is an Investment Manager at Qualcomm Ventures and is responsible for driving Seed and Series A investments in North America. He is based in San Francisco. Varun joined us in 2014 and led our investments in Navdy, world’s first smart head-up display for cars and Even, an interest-free mobile alternative to payday loans. He was also closely involved with our investment in Retailnext, the worldwide leader in advanced in-store retail analytics.
Varun has significant operating experience and has done business across India, Singapore and USA. Prior to joining Qualcomm Ventures, he led consumer marketing and business development efforts at Mint, which started in 2007 and is today one of the largest and most innovative media brands in Asia. He has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management where he was a McCormick Scholar; a Masters in Marketing Communications from MICA; and a Bachelors in Information & Communication Technology from DA-IICT.

Jeff Wasson is a startup junkie with an almost, almost, debilitating travel habit. Jeff was a Founder/CEO of three companies, took one public, sold two, and had one go bust. Jeff has been an investor, mentor, and general hanger-arounder of startups since the early 2000s. Traveling and working on every continent (except Antarctica, which he is plotting), Jeff is constantly looking for the next big thing. Jeff leads the recruiting effort at Boost VC, and while referrals are appreciated, he enjoys finding entrepreneurs in their native habitats.

Dylan Flinn is the Director of Investments at Rothenberg Ventures, the millennial venture capital firm. Rothenberg Ventures made their first Virtual Reality investment into AltspaceVR over a year ago and has since invested in 20 Virtual Reality companies. Dylan also oversees River, which is an intensive 3 month program for Frontier Technology startups with an emphasis on Virtual Reality. Dylan works side by side with entrepreneurs to remove obstacles, create opportunities, and build an engaged community of people that want to help each other succeed. Anjney leads KPCB Edge as Founding Partner, and focuses on Virtual Reality and Drones & Aerospace companies. Before founding Edge, Anjney was the youngest partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and was closely involved with the firm’s investments in RelateIQ (acquired by Salesforce), Ayasdi, Magic Leap, Enjoy, and True Caller, where he is a board observer. Anjney pursued undergraduate and graduate degrees at Stanford, and is on a leave of absence from the Biomedical Informatics department at the Stanford School of Medicine. Anjney enjoys flying microlight planes and modding quadcopters.

Travis Hedge is an Analyst with SVB Capital, the investment arm of Silicon Valley Bank. He is responsible for identifying and evaluating venture capital investment opportunities, as well as performing industry research. Travis co-leads SVB’s VR research and engagement initiatives, including the SVB VR Forum.

Amitt Mahajan is a curious technologist and entrepreneur based in the San Francisco Bay area. He was the founder/CTO of MyMiniLife (exited to Zynga) and the founder/CEO of Toro (exited to Google). While at Zynga he was one of the creators of the game FarmVille and was the CTO of Zynga Japan. Prior to his entrepreneurial work, he was an engineer at Epic Games on the Unreal Engine and Gears of War. Amitt holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from University of Illinois – Urbana / Champaign and was listed on the Forbes 30 under 30 in 2012.

Tipatat Chennavasin is serial entrepreneur in the interactive space and an advisor/investor in Virtual Reality. He realized the true potential of VR when he accidentally cured himself of his own real life fear of heights while building the Matrix VR experience. Since then he helped co-create the River VR Accelerator Program at Rothenberg Ventures and helped invest in over 15 VR start-ups. Now independent, he is searching the world for the best in VR.
